I got some lovely hate mail from a guy called David Winston, who wants to enjoy watching me burn in hell. I thought it would be good to share here. It shows how nasty Adventists can be, and how their hatred blinds them to any factual evidence contrary to their way of viewing the world.

It seems to me as if Ellen White clearly foretells the “Trade Unions”, “Papacy” and “Sunday Laws” while you are in danger of the Fire of Hell for opposing a true Messenger of God.
The LORD Rebuke you! In shame will you go down in Hades, for you are responsible for the hundreds of people online that you have willingly deceived by claiming that Ellen White was a false prophet, when her writings clearly state otherwise.

That was entertaining, but hardly accurate. It was well known at the time that the Catholic Church was supporting trade unions, and after decades of the concept growing that culminated in Pope Leo XIII’s 1891 statement (see https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Rerum_novarum) that became a seminal work in the rights of labourers. That was not a prophecy by Ellen, just reading the local news and turning it into her usual anti-Catholic propaganda.
I fully support the Catholic notion of trade unions, and their fight for justice and freedom.

The pope doesn’t claim to be god on earth – that’s fake news. Millions? Fake history.
Jesus is indeed the rising sun with healing in its rays, but it’s not just the Catholic Church that says so – that’s a direct quote from the Bible, as I’m sure you know if you believe the Bible and read it. The Bible calls God our dawn, our sun, the light of the world. So if the pagans so we do, yes, we do because the Bible says so.
A religion like yours that needs to lie about other Christians in order to make itself look good is not a religion worth following. I just help people see that.
