OsmAnd+ je opensource program i samim tim ima potpuno besplatnu verziju [1]. Besplatna verzija se zove OsmAnd~, potpuno je identična OsmAnd+ verziji, s time što nema nikakva ograničenja, tako da nisu potrebni nikakvi krekovi i sl. sumnjiva rešenja. OsmAnd~ se može naći na [2].
Posle instalacije OsmAnd~-a, google play-u se ne sme dozvoliti da ga apdejtuje, jer će instalirati OsmAnd+ komercijalnu verziju. Treba sačekati par dana i sa [1] linkova skinuti novu verziju.
