Buka je nov i veoma moderan pdf reader za GNU/Linux. Testirao sam ga danas, i stvarno je odličan, ima moju skromnu preporuku.

P.S. ne brinite ljudi, ne pravi nikakvu buku, samo se tako zove.



Buka (Buka is a relatively new open-source app that’s designed for reading and managing PDF ebooks.

Many ebooks, particularly text books and manuals, come as PDF files. Ubuntu has a basic PDF viewer pre-installed (called ‘Evince’) but Buka is a dedicated reader app designed to “help users focus more on the content” and less on the window chrome that surrounds it.

Buka lets you move between pages of a PDF using your arrow keys (or toolbar buttons); adjust page zoom; view 2 pages side-by-side; and search for text in compatible documents. Should you need it you can also rotate individual pages of a PDF.

For managing your PDFs Buka lets you create separate lists, e.g., ‘Textbooks’, ‘Manuals’, etc, and switch between them easily.

But my favourite feature is the built-in translation tool. It’s network dependant (so won’t work without internet) but is helpful for quickly understanding snippets or phrases of text in documents that aren’t in your native language.

Summary: Buka is a compelling PDF reader app for Ubuntu with many useful features.)

Kako pronaći duplikate na GNU/Linux-u i obrisati ih? Evo ga jedan sjajan programčić, koji taj posao obavlja jako dobro, zbog čega zaslužuje preporuku.

P.S. Nisam ni znao da imam toliko duplikata dok njega nisam instalir'o.

FSlint (Fslint helps you search and remove duplicate files, empty directories or files with incorrect names. It has a command-line as well as GUI mode with a set of tools to perform a variety of tasks.

FSlint includes a number of options to choose from. There are options to find duplicate files, installed packages, bad names, name clashes, temp files, empty directories etc. Choose the Search Path and the task which you want to perform from the left panel and click on Find to locate the files. Once done, you can select the files you want to remove and Delete it.

You can click on any file directory from the search result to open it if you are not sure and want to double check it before deleting it.

You can select Advanced search parameters where you can define rules to exclude certain file types or exclude directories which you don’t want to search.)

Onion Share - alat za deljenje (slanje) datoteka, bilo koje velicine, anonimno. Anonimnost (meni) nije toliko bitna koliko jednostavnost koriscenja .
Ne treba nikakav "upload" na oblak, vec se jednostavno pokrene program i prevuce (drag and drop) datoteka i Onion Share generise URL adresu koja se salje onome sa kim se deli datoteka. Uslov da primalac "skine" datoteku je da koristi Tor Browser. Link (URL) se moze poslati i preko drustvenih mreza ako se ne salju tajni dokumenti.

Open OnionShare, drag and drop files and folders you wish to share into it, and click Start Sharing. After a moment, it will show you a .onion URL such as http://asxmi4q6i7pajg2b.onion/egg-cain. This is the secret URL that can be used to download the file you're sharing.

Send this URL to the person you're sending the files to. If the files you're sending aren't secret, you can use normal means of sending the URL, like by emailing it, or sending it in a Facebook or Twitter private message. If you're sending secret files then it's important to send this URL securely.
