Step-1 How to take a screenshot on your Samsung Galaxy Smartphone with a simple Swipe/Gesture
a.) First you need to enable this feature from Settings->Motions and Gestures. There turn "Palm Swipe to Capture" to on. (the navigation will be slightly different on different android firmware versions, here it is given for KitKat)

Now simply swipe your palm over your Galaxy Smartphone screen like shown in the image above and that's it, you are done. The screenshot will be saved to your phone gallery.
Step-2 How to take a screenshot on your Samsung Galaxy Smartphone using the button combinations.
To take a screenshot on your Samsung Galaxy Smartphone using buttons combination, simply press and hold the "Home"+"Power"buttons at the same time for 2 seconds. That's it the screenshot is cooked and ready....It will be saved to your phone gallery.
