Set 30 years in the future, colonization in space is now a reality, and the Robinson family is among those tested and selected to make a new life for themselves in a better world. Lost in Space is an American science fiction web television series based on the 1965 series of the same name, following the adventures of a family of pioneering space colonists whose spaceship veers off-course. It is written by Matt Sazama and Burk Sharpless and consists of 10 episodes. The series is produced by Legendary Television, Synthesis Entertainment, and Applebox, with Zack Estrin serving as showrunner.
The series was released on April 13, 2018 on Netflix.[1]
